Now, I am new to her books but being the bookworm that I am, this book tugged at my heartstrings like never before.

Despite that desire to keep them small, we also desire to watch them grow throughout life, learn new experiences, and create wonderful memories. We are proud when our little ones learn something new yet, we feel a slight disappointment that they are growing independent and away from us. Thus, arises complex emotions in each and everyone of us and Marianne was able to convert that into a masterpiece on pen and paper. I'm sure that's how all parents feel and even I, as a pet owner, feel. Marianne Richmond truly is able to write and illustrate this, which is why this book is just so beautiful and so easily able to tug on heartstrings of all those who read it. It is a very sweet book and I can tell you Marianne now has a new fan! This is a must read and I would recommend it to families and kids, another great bedtime story. This book easily gets 10 stars out of 10.
