Premier Pet Review and Giveaway

I'm very excited to introduce Premier Pet to my fellow animal lovers out there. If you haven't heard of them, here's a little background information from Premier Pet on how they started and it truly is an inspiring story!

With a $5,000 loan, two refurbished sewing machines, and a desire to make a more effective training collar, Sharon Madere started Premier Pet Products in 1989, making dog collars in a spare bedroom of their small home.

Isn't it amazing how they've grown so much from so little? Anyways, I was ecstatic when they allowed me to do a review on their products. They have such a wide assortment of products for cats, dogs, even birds, ferrets and rabbits. They have anything and everything from leashes and harnesses, clothing, beds, training materials, to toys and treats. There's even a pleat sheet, its actually very cool and I just saw it on their site today. Its so innovative and ingenious...who ever thought of sheets that could expand to an extent so that your pet could sleep with you without you fighting over your sheets at night!? Its even got button closure to close it up so that you can make your bed in the morning. I wish I had one because my SO loves to pull on the blankets and I hate sleeping cold!

After much deliberation, I chose to review a Fido Fleece in MacDawg Plaid and a Bristle Bone. The Fido Fleece is so adorable! I love the stitched logo and I am so happy that my baby is not trying to pull it off because for the first time ever, her fleece fit perfectly! Its a little short for her body but that's to be expected since she has a long body and with any other clothing I've bought for her, if they fit her length, they don't fit her girth and even if I size down for her length, the girth is usually still too wide. Either way, it doesn't usually work out this perfectly so I am very happy that the sizing chart for their Fido Fleeces come in both length and girth so that you can choose the perfect fit for your pet. I also liked how it was a velcro closure along the top so it was quite easy to slip her in and velcro her up. I honestly have nothing but praises for the Fido Fleece because since it fit so well, she hasn't even tried to get out of it or kick and pull at it like she normally does with her other clothes. Better yet, she's already fallen asleep in the warm and comfort of her fleece. 

The Busy Buddy Bristle Bone is just one of many other creative ideas Premier has come up with. These are super strength durable chew toys fused with treats but it comes with a catch... your dog can't stuff his/her face with treats and get away with it! :) They have to work for it and the awesome thing is, while they work on it, the bristles and rubber nubs help with their dental hygiene! So not only does the bone and treat last longer, they're also cleaning their teeth. I thought this would be great for my baby as she's been going through those bones I buy at Petco so quickly. Plus, it keeps her busy. After I gave it to her, she was too busy chewing on it to follow me around everywhere like she normally does. So, I was very glad to see her enjoying it. They also come with another set of natural rawhide treats for replacement of the treat on the bone and you can purchase additional treat rings for a reasonable price.

Overall, I had a great experience with Premier Pet. The service was quick, friendly and fast and the products were even better. They have even been generous enough to offer a giveaway of one of each of the products I reviewed to my loyal readers.
