Children's CD and Review: Rocknoceros -Colonel Purple Turtle

Rocknoceros, a trio from Northern Virginia, are about to release their 4th studio CD and first ever kid-friendly concept album, "Colonel Purple Turtle". Available September 13th, this music and its accompanying book will promote camaraderie, friendship and lifelong bonds.

Rocknoceros is composed of 3 guys: Coach Cotton, Williebob and Boogie Woogie Bennie. These 3 have been best friends ever since they were 4 years old and this CD only reflects the closeness of their friendship today. Filled with interactive music on 19 tracks that teach science and lessons, it makes learning fun! Children will learn the lifecycle of the ladybug. How cool is that!?

Colonel Purple Turtle is set to come out with an accompanying 24 page book, Colonel Purple Turtle's Purple Turtle Journal. Ya, I know, a slight tongue twister. Now imagine making your kids say that 10 times. I know I'd crack up! Its filled with artwork and colors that show the story of the Colonel Purple Turtle and his friends at their home of Soggy Bog. This one is definitely worth checking out.
