I make sure they don't eat too much candy and right after, they brush and floss.
For us, it's all about consistent brushing and not too much sugary drinks.

I'll do anything not to have to fight my daughter to brush her teeth.
We try to avoid sugary drinks, and brush often!
Our oral hygene routine stays the same around holidays since they are brushing twice a day anyway, I figure they are fine.

My kids only eat one peice of their halloween candy a day.. so after they eat that they brush their teeth
We don't allow them to eat it all of the time and they have to brush their teeth shortly after.
i have the grandkids brush and gloss their teeth 3 times a day. not just with halloween candy.

I make sure that they brush every morning and night and floss and I limit the amount of candy they get to eat in the evenings.

I don't think we really do anything different around Halloween. They are only supposed to have 1 piece of candy a day, and brush as usual.
