Hello Kitty has always been a favorite of mine. You can say she was one of my favorite characters when I was a kid. My relatives loved to buy me Hello Kitty themed products so I was a pretty lucky kid. What I never had though, was Hello Kitty DVD's.
I recently received two Growing Up with Hello Kitty DVDs and each one contains 6 entertaining stories that teach kids important lessons. While enjoying the videos, kids can watch Hello Kitty and Mimmy, her twin sister, learn how to share, eat their vegetables, answer the phone, and use proper table manners. And then, as we all hope, assimilate that into their own growth and development. Volume 1 (Run time: 45 minutes) contains 6 stories including: Eating Our Vegetables, Cleaning Up My Mess, Sleeping By Ourselves, It's Fun To Help, Talking On The Phone and Changing Our Clothes. Volume 2 (Run time: 44 minutes) also contains 6 stories which include: I Can Share With Friends, Going To The Bathroom, Saying I'm Sorry, Let's Play Together, Eating Nicely, and Replying Properly.
This series of clips were short and educational. I feel that they nicely emphasized some key character traits that all children should develop as they grow up. Adorable characters and story line makes learning manners funner and more interesting for the little ones in my opinion.
