Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson brings THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN onto Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD, On Demand and for Digital Download on March 13, 2012 from Paramount Home Media Distribution. Already the winner of the 2012 Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film, THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN has been touted as a great animated adventure. It even has an all-star voice cast of Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis and Daniel Craig.
This is so nostalgic. I still remember watching The Adventures of TinTin and his dog, Snowy, years ago in the Saturday cartoon line-up. Available as a three-disc Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and two-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack that include over 90 minutes of special features and as a single-disc DVD. I love how theses Blu-ray and DVD releases come with UltraViolet! If you haven't read my previous post, UltraViolet allows consumers can add movies to their digital collection in the cloud, and then stream or download them through secure networks to a variety of devices. So once you have one DVD, you can watch it on any of your devices.
Here's a quick synopsis:
Racing to uncover the secrets of a sunken ship that may hold a vast fortune — but also an ancient curse — Tintin and his loyal dog Snowy embark on an action-packed journey around the world that critics are calling “fun for the whole family.”
I was very much looking forward to watching this and I was not disappointed. See, I've always loved my animated films and this one had adventure so bonus!! I was sent a DVD and this adorable TinTin set for review. I watched it just the other night and was happy at the quality of animation as well as the action packed film. Snowy is so smart! I actually partly groaned at the end because well, it seems that there'll be a sequel. And there better be after they worked me up for it! A good watch for the whole family, get the popcorn ready!
