#Cheerios is going green, getting more for less! #MyBlogSpark

I'm not much of a cereal eater but I do like munching on certain cereals form time to time and that includes Cheerios! They're great, healthy munchies for me since they're a good source of fiber and are only 100 calories per cup. I'm happy to share with you some of Cheerios latest news. Do you shop at club or wholesale stores? Well then, you already know things are cheaper at wholesale stores but now, they come in a new 2 box packaging format.

This makes Cheerios an even better purchase because it consists two individual boxes. Not only does it make storing and pouring Cheerios easier, the size of the packaging has been reduced in order to give you 10% more Cheerios in smaller boxes. So less packaging is needed making for a greener Cheerios. This actually reduces their packaging products by over 200,000 lbs, saving 1,000 trees. The smaller boxes also means more boxes can be transported on each truck...that means 130 less trucks on the road and effectively, less CO2 emissions. I like their new idea, it does a lot of good while still letting us enjoy the yum!
