Oscar Diggs is a small-time circus magician played by James Franco. Whisked off from Kansas, much like Dorothy, he arrives at the Land of Oz. Diggs is convinced that he'll make it big this time until he meets the three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams). Faced with doubts about his powers, he becomes drawn into the problems surrounding the Land of Oz. How does he overcome these and come out a better man and the all mighty Wizard of Oz?
I have to admit, this is kind of neat, they're going back and addressing the roots of all these classics. I'm very much interested in how these will turn out. What about you?
