Enjoying my summer night with Arbor Mist #SSCheers

I love my wine...it's just something I enjoy. I very recently heard of Frozen Wine Cocktails from Arbor Mist. I never even knew something like that existed. Before I knew it, a pretty box wrapped in pink tissue paper arrived with my very own Frozen Wine Cocktails. They come unthawed and all you have to do is pop them in the freezer for 5 hours, bring them out, squeeze them into your glass and you're ready to go.The simplicity of it all...this would be so easy to deal with at a party, barbeque or even just a gathering of friends and family. Three flavors are currently available: Blackberry Merlot, Strawberry White Zinfandel, White Pear Pinot Grigio. I love fruity flavors so as soon as I got my initial pictures, these went right into the freezer. The Blackberry Merlo is a fusion of blackberries, guava, and Arbor wine. Strawberry White Zinfandel and White Pear Pinot Grigio are pretty self-explanatory just from their name so we won't delve into the blend unless you really want me to. At a suggested retail value of $1.99 per pouch (296ml). They vary from 280-310 calories, which was a bit surprising to me. It's a little more than I'd like but the alcohol content is nice and light at 6%.

So, I came up with this idea. Instead of serving them in cocktail glasses, why not serve them in little shot glasses? It's cute, it's fun, and everyone can try the different flavors on a hot summer night! For me, it was absolutely perfect because it's hot and humid in NYC during the summers and a cold drink really does the trick. One bag fills 6 shot glasses. All 3 flavors were quite refreshing and tasted incredibly good once I got them squeezed out. The squeezing out part was a tad hard messy since I was squeezing them into shot glasses and my hands were freezing! Once I got past that though I loved how they the fruit and wine melody teased and soothed my tastebuds.
