I further tried to figure out my caloric intake from the 13.2g of cherry tomatoes I used. The conversion scale is 0.18 according to the booklet. So the handful of tomatoes that I threw into the bowl worked out to be 2.376 calories. So I got in my serving of vegetables and it was super low in calories! The calorie factor booklet is pretty straight forward to use. It's categorized by food type and then alphabetized.I loved the look of this scale. Stainless steel is a kind of classic, sharp and clean look. It's also easy to clean. I would love to use it more if I can wrestle it from the SO. Haha, it's a great product for not only cooks but also jocks, apparently. It retails for $59.95 but you can find it on Amazon for $39.95 with Super Saver Shipping.

I love this scale. It's time to upgrade mine, thanks so much for sharing :)
what a nice looking scale!
Very neat scale, I really do need one of those. That is hilarious that your SO decided to use it.. very creative too!
I really need to get one of these!
LOL I love the photo of the racket under the tomatoes. I'd like to get a scale too, so I can plan a better diet. Plus, I'd finally be able to make those recipes that call for grams of loose grains/veggies/herbs :)
