Protect the #AirYouShare with @HaloGermDefense US 11/21

Christmas Gift Ideas 2012
What do you normally do when people around you start getting sick? Well, it does feel a bit awkward to step back and run away, doesn’t it? Halo Oral Antiseptic Spray from Oasis Consumer Healthcare is a new product that is clinically proven to kill 99.9% of infectious airborne germs you breathe in for up to 6 hours. It’s the first and only product in the market that does this. It’s useful because even if someone coughs or sneezes in an environment, germs can last in the air and breathed in.
cough cold prevention
Oasis has said that their Halo Oral Antiseptic spray kills a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses, such as rhinovirus (common cold), influenza and H1N1, and other airborne germs. It works using the active ingredient, Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC, 0.1%). To use it, spray Halo three times into your mouth and it’ll coat the oropharynx (the back of your throat) to provide a sustained antiseptic action. The solution is alcohol-, dye- and sugar-free.

Halo comes in a 1 fl oz (30ml) travel size that retails for $12.99. Each bottle provides approximately 35 doses. There are both adult and child-specific lines and different flavors available. There’s berry and citrus for adults and kids 12+ and grape for children ages 2+.

It’s easy enough to use and the flavors are surprisingly nice. I have been around sick people a lot lately. The SO was coughing and hacking all over the place before I left for my conference. I used it once a day and never got sick. So, let’s just say I’m liking the product. A word of precaution though, you don’t want to use it for more than 7 days straight or more than 3 times a day. It’s a good product but use when necessary.

Overall, the product seems to work. I didn’t get sick after all, even with the conference draining me and being around sick contacts. The flavors are nice so it’s actually a pleasant way to prevent getting cough, colds, and the flu for adults and kids alike.

I got a sample of this at BlogHer because I travel constantly and also get sick constantly. I've been using it since and haven't gotten sick after a flight yet so it must be doing something right!
