The first time I watched Monsters, Inc was with my friends at the theater back in 2001. It was really the good old days. Life was good and it brings a smile to my face, remembering good times with great friends! Now, it’s coming back in 3D December 19th! This may sound silly to you but to me, Monsters, Inc is a classic Disney movie.
In times when the world of Monsters was powered by chidrens’ screams, a crisis loomed as the energy supply diminished and portals to childrens’ rooms destroyed. When a small human child gets into the Monstropolis, the very defininion of "contamination", all hell breaks loose. Can the super star team of Sulley and Mike save their world from an energy crisis and make an unexpected friend? So now that you know I thought of Monsters, Inc as a classic, you can imagine how excited I was when I found out Monsters Inc., 3D was on our screening itinerary during the #DisneyMoviesEvent! Woot woot, I couldn’t wait to see it again. I spent a happy 92 minutes inside the theater laughing along with the movie. Packed with action and adventure, it’s not one you’ll want to miss.
The short of it is that 11 years later, the movie is still as amazing and cute as it was when it first made it's debut. In fact, I might even argue that seeing it in 3D gave it a little more oomph. Sulley's blue fur waving back and forth has been imprinted into my mind forever.
I’m sure most of the kids out there now haven’t had a chance to check out the movie when it already came out but this is such a great opportunity to watch it! They must have seen the trailers for Monsters University, right? You can’t watch the second one without watching the first one! Well, you probably could but it’d be so much fun to know the story of Sulley, Mike and Boo. Monsters Inc., 3D will capture the hearts of old and new friends December 19th! Tickets are already on sale now! Then get ready for Monsters University, out June 21, 2013!Stay connected with Monsters Inc., 3D:
