Reviva Labs with Newly Named Products for the better US 1/30 #skincare #beauty

Reviva Labs review
Reviva Labs isn't an unfamiliar brand to us here at WOS. Part of it's draw is definitely the fact that it's used at over 1200 professional skin care salons. Skin care is especially important during these winter months when it's particularly easy to get dried out. This time, we will be taking a look at two creams that have always been in their line just renamed. You tell me, do they live up to the name change? Oh and be sure to stick with us because this is a part of the New Year's Giveaway Hop so not only will you be able to enter to win the review products here, you can also visit the other blogs for other great giveaways!

The Nourishing Cream (#306) formerly known as the EFAs Cream retails for $25 (1.5oz/42g). This particular cream is a concoction of 10 different Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids (EFAs) from plants and pomegranate oil, hence the original name EFAs cream. According to Reviva Labs research, EFAs are important in maintaining the fullness, bounce and thickness of youthful skin. The result of this cream is to provide smoother, plumper, and softer look to skin and hands.

At first glance, this minimally scented yellow cream appears to be thick. However, it turned out to be of a medium consistency that smoothed and blended easily into my skin. My skin is already typically soft but I was pleased to even immediately feel added softness after application of the cream. Used twice a day, it'll help to fight dryness and produce healthier, younger looking skin.
Collagen Regeneration Cream, Nourishing Cream, Review
The Collagen Regeneration Cream (#305) comes in a 2oz/55g container for $35 and is formerly known as the TGF Beta-1 Cream. It's fairly common knowledge that the sun can damage our skin, wrecking havoc on collagen, the elastic that holds our skin together. When that gets damaged, wrinkles form.

Reviva's special Collagen Regeneration Formula (with Tissue Growth Factors) can help repair sun damage and help new collagen growth. In that sense, it is one up on its competitors because it also deals with sun-damaged collagen. Interestingly, this means it just may be a powerful anti-aging serum that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and improves skin tone and texture. They further include an antioxidant, CoQ10, which will help to protect against future damage.

Used alone, over serums, gels or glycolic creams, or under Alpha Lipoic or other creams, this cream is light and soft and meant to be used twice daily in 2 week cycles. Again, it leaves the skin feeling soft and supple but the wrinkles won't disappear overnight. Expect to start seeing changes after about 8 weeks.

Overall, I'm a fan of the name change. Having scientific names that most people don't know about probably was hurting them more. I personally enjoy the change of names to something that a diverse group of people would easily understand and reap the benefits of. What do you think?
