Magnolia sent me an assortment of their ice cream milk bars and pints in the older packaging. Look for new packaging starting April 1st. You can see what the new packaging looks like on their site.
The coconut milk bars were also decent but to me tasted more like coconut strips than the real flavor of coconuts. On second taste though, I still liked it. I have yet to taste a flavor I didn't like. By the way, Ube (purple yam) is actually taro. I was wondering why there wasn't any taro flavors being Asian until I tasted it and was like "OMG, it's Taro...and so amazing!"
Interestingly though, just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Magnolia has a green flavor that'll make you jump for the pot of gold.
Avocado ice cream! Avocado! I love my guac but have never tried avocado ice cream before. You couldn't make me try before now.
Rich and creamy with the clear and refreshing taste of avocados, this ice cream wasn't too flavorful or sweet.
For the perfect St. Patty's Day drink, follow this recipe to make beautifully green Muddy 'Cado Shake.
