In honor of Mother's Day that's coming up ever so soon, let's talk moms. Moms are so monumental in our lives. They care for us, they give us advice and they're a huge part of our lives.
I personally feel blessed to have such a mom like no other. She can be awkwardly cute but she's always there when I need her. My troubles, my happiness, my successes and failures...she's been there for me every step of the way. Even when we're thousands of miles away, I know my mom is just a phone call away.
Now here are some fashion tips I've always held onto from my mom that I would love to share with you:
1) Comfort is key -I love this tip. There's nothing I enjoy more than clothes that not only look great but fit and feel wonderful too. Why force yourself to be uncomfortable all day, right?
2) Look for a good bargain. Looking good doesn't have to cost you big bucks. You can manage your spendings and still put together a killer look.
3) Being a little conservative is good. Sometimes, less is more and you can still look great without flaunting everything.
4) Posture -Okay, I kind of failed at this but she's always reminding me to stand up straight. It's important. Not only does it look better, it also exudes confidence.
5) Don't buy something if you don't 100% like it. It makes sense, doesn't it? If you're not 100% with it, why spend the hard earned cash on it when it's only going to end up sitting in some corner of your closet, never to see the light of day again.
6) Don't skimp on quality. Spend a few extra bucks to get that extra quality that will actually last.
