A beautiful thing arrived the other week...it was "The Porsche 911 Book." Oh yes, this 50th Anniversary edition couldn't have been more sexy and beautiful. Almost beautiful to the point where it would've broken my heart to take it out of the shrink wrap but I had to see the beauty inside.
You see, a Porsche 911 Turbo was my dream car when I was little. I loved the curves of that classic car. To this day, I still think it's beautiful. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911, teNeues has published this book to showcase the most important models throughout the years.
The Porsche 911 Book by famed automotive photographer, René Staud, is extra special because as the first page says..."A Legend is Born." My love of cars makes automotive history fascinating. Did you know Porsche 911's never used to be called 911's?
First introduced in 1963, Porsche 901 was already a thing of beauty. Later changed to 911 because Peugeot patented having a 0 in the middle of car model numbers, this sports car just blossomed and grew to be one of my favorite sports cars.
This hardcover book (320 pp.) is a massive display of art at 11.5" x 14.5". It consists of 225 color photographs and has text in English, German, French, Russian, and Chinese.

As a car fanatic, it's not one to be passed up on. After all, it is "the" Porsche 911 book. As for me, I fully intend on displaying it on my coffee table. Classic cars, classic entertainment, classic design...
