Ah, the task of going from work to play is hard sometimes, isn't it? For someone who hates wasting time, it's essential to plan ahead and make the transition as simple and stress free as possible. Of course, now I'm just making it sound hard. It's not so bad. Here are some quick and easy tips to make that happy hour transition pain-free.
1) Versatile items
One of my favorite versatile items to wear are dresses and skirts. Why? They're easy to switch from work look with a cardigan to a night look without the cardigan. Add heels for more of a night-time look.
2) Accessorize
What girl doesn't love their accessories. It's easy to to downplay the work look for a more demure image but glam it up at night with jewelry, clutches, fashion belts and shoes. I tend to keep a bag with shoes/dress clothes in the trunk so I can switch out quick and easy.
3) Change the look
Use natural looks for your daytime makeup then dramatize it at night by using bolder colors. Choose one or the other though, by that I mean either play up your eyes or go for those plump, luscious lips.

Karina Dresses' red buckle ana skirt makes a great addition to my work wardobe. You never knew they made skirts in addition to the fab dresses I own, did you? |

But it's just as easy to toss off the cardigan for a great happy hour time! |
