It's hard for me to imagine that anyone hasn't gone to see this in the theater yet as this was the captivating sequel to Marvel's Thor and The Avengers. An ancient enemy force led by Malekith threatens to throw all the realms back into darkness. In order to defeat an evil that couldn't be killed by his very own grandfather, Thor must team up with Loki.
Thor: The Dark World (PG13, Run time: 1hr 51min) is easily my favorite movie from last year. Packed full of all sorts of emotion, I would watch it again and again. The cheekiness of brothers is amusing to watch and of course, does not lack in humor. At the same time, Thor: The Dark World still has it's tear jerker scenes.
