Who is excited for Captain America? You know I love all Marvel films so I'm getting more and more pumped the closer we get to April 4th. Unlikely for me, I'll be far away from anywhere that has a theater at that time but hey, I've got some activities to keep both you, your kids, and me busy until I can get to the theater!

I don't know about you but when we do potlucks or anything, I always feel dread because it's so hard to make something that everyone will like. Even for snacks, it's always a head scratcher but I've found a great solution that incorporates not only healthy and fresh ingredients but seriously only took me a few minutes to prepare.

With my busy schedule, I'm always looking for great ways to incorporate good tastes, healthy foods, and flavor in moderation. The faster I can make it, the better. Wow...when I headed to the red carpet premiere of Divergent at Minneapolis' Mall of America, I certainly did not expect the craziness that would ensue. The energy was phenomenal and not one that I would've expected. I'm used to the craziness in LA during other red carpet premiere's, however the scene in Minneapolis is not one to be doubted. Or maybe it was the strong support Divergent had already amassed. Never underestimate the vocal fan power of teenage girls.

This is going to sound disgusting...but since I moved into my new place, I have not had a vacuum cleaner. Luckily, most of my place consists of non-carpeted flooring, which means I can sweep and mop but it still takes quite a bit of effort. Unluckily, like 75% of other US homes, we have a combination of carpets and hard floors. Without a vacuum cleaner, my carpeted rooms were subjected to a life of neglect. Frankly speaking, they had not been vacuumed for months. Remember I also have two troublemaking, insanely shedding furbabies that didn't make the cause any easier. Short version...we were living in filth and layers of fur until very recently.
