There are so many places one could go on vacation or travel to, so why do so many choose to cruise instead of flying or driving to their tourist sites. I can tell you why I chose cruising. After years of planning vacations for my family and I, I decided it was time I got a break and got to enjoy myself a little. However, that isn't to say that there isn't a bunch of planning that still goes into cruising. If you've never cruised before, these 10 reasons will get you thinking...
10 Reasons Why YOU should go on a Cruise:
1) You don't have to worry about booking a hotel. A cruise means you already have your accommodations accounted for, saving you time and money from looking for hotels.
2) You don't have to worry about how to get to your destinations. A cruise takes you to various locations and you don't even have to drive.
3) You don't have to worry about what to eat. Cruises typically have free meals, no reservations required! Although there are also always paid options you can try.
4) It's one of those things where you can either do nothing (my husband's favorite) or do everything or any mix in between. My husband loved kicking back on one of the deck top beach chairs and falling asleep in the sun.
5) Your cruise price already covers all your entrance into all sorts of day and night activities and entertainment including shows, clubs, games and more.
6) Cruises are available for any budget, spend as much or as little as you want.
7) Cruise for as long as you want. Cruises can start at 2 days and extend from there.
8) Cruises can start and end in any part of the world. Enjoy various travel destinations without having to worry about plane transfers or all night drives, or being stuck in traffic or on a 14 hour layover.
9) Spend quality time with friends or family. Let's face it, when the ship is at sea, there's no avoiding family, is there? Enjoy family-centered events and fun.
10) Activities are available for all ages, young to old. There's something for every one.
I mainly choose cruising because of the decreased hassles in planning and it still turns out to be fun and enjoyable. However, there are certain hidden costs to consider on a cruise as well.
