One can never have enough cozy items at home. I'm a huge fan of comfort but really, who isn't? Moccis and Bedphones...two very different products for two very different areas of the body. What they have in common though is that they're both great for all ages, fashionistas and techies alike.
Moccis are a hand sewn Swedish moccasin sock combination that feature both fashion, function, and comfort. They feature a non-slip leather sole, an invisible support strap, and are machine washable! The invisible ankle support strap helps to keep Moccis on and keeps their shape. Plus, the fact the the whole thing can be washed means you can have clean Moccis all the time!
Moccis have already been well loved by many celebrities including the Beckhams, Rita Ora, Jamie Oliver, Sienna Miller, Claudia Schiffer, Gordon Ramsay, and more. Ok, I find it hilarious and would love to see Gordon Ramsay in his. My chosen pair of Moccis was the ever adorable Pengy Brr Moccis. Say you can resist that adorable penguin because I couldn't!
Slipping it on was easy and I didn't even notice the invisible ankle support strap. The materials were soft and comfortable surrounding my feet. The leather sole provides for grip and some minor cushioning, however there is no padding like other slippers giving a barefooted feel.
At the end of the night, slip out of the Moccis (MRSP ~$35-60) into Bedphones. Bedphones are touted to be the most comfortable sleep headphones out there. It took them nearly one-hundred hand-made prototypes to get the sound quality, thickness and adjustability as perfect as possible. The latest 2nd generation of Bedphones took a year of research and features a thin, foam covered headphones less than 1/4" thick, adjustable ear hooks, microphone with remote compatible with day use, and are travel ready.
Things I liked about the Bedphones was the thin nature that was barely noticeable if you're a side sleeper. We had a little more trouble with the fitment though. Made from rubber-coated memory wire, the earhooks were easy to bend for that custom fit, although it seemed a little difficult forming around my husband's ears. The cable is meant to be worn behind your head and down your back with a cable slider to tighten and secure it for the night. My husband tends to sleep listening to Top Gear so these Bedphones were meant for him! He, however, didn't like the feeling of the earhooks. While properly fitted, he still felt them. For me, when I tried them overnight, I got used to the feeling of the earhooks so that may just be dependent from person to person.
The Bedphones kit comes with a cute travel case and even a satin eye mask to promote sleep! A key part of the Bedphones (MRSP $54.95, or on sale for $39.95 on Amazon) is that the company made it compatible with day to day use. There's an inline microphone with a remote option (additional $5) which works great for picking up calls and play/pause/skip music.
