Everybody knows who Dora the Explorer and Boots are. That's a given since I have so many nieces and nephews. Dora -quirky, unique girl with an appetite for explorer and boundless positivity.
In Dora and the Lost City of Gold which is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand from Paramount Home Entertainment, Dora is thrown from actual jungle living to the jungle that is modern city high school. When her parents mysteriously disappear while search for the Lost City of Gold, Dora leads a mismatched group of high schoolers including her previously close cousin, Diego, on a mission to save her parents and of course, make the discovery of a lifetime.
Featuring a cast including Isabela Moner (Dora), Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, and Danny Trejo, Dora and the Lost City of Gold makes for a fantastic film to enjoy with the family this Thanksgiving holiday.
Yes, Dora is weird but in her strangely always positive and sing-a-long ways, you can't help but like her and the qualities she brings to the table. She sets a great example of integrity, kindness, honestly and looking for the best qualities in people, while igniting watchers' adventurous explorer side. While there are some cliche scenes that you'd expect, the movie is overall funny and an adventure in itself. The movie is rated PG. Check out the trailer below.
