It's the season of giving. Megan Hess is an acclaimed fashion illustrator who works with many well known brands such as Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Montblanc and Tiffany & Co. As the official illustrator for Bloomingdales New York and worked others such as Michelle Obama and Gwyneth Paltrow. My goodness, she has quite the resume. Anyways, I digress. I think this has been a hard year for everyone regardless of what you do, who you are. With a pandemic ravaging the world, it is more important now than ever to realize that we are just a person that can have significant impacts on so many others. Every choice we make has the potential to affect someone else. What I think we can all agree on though is that we all need a healthy dose of cheer. I never realized how much entertainment and movies really did that for me. Laughter is certainly the best medicine and Disney+ delivers it in their newest comedy, Godmothered. It has always been a challenge to find time for working out for me, given my full time job, a toddler, and so forth. I went from an exercise junkie -spending 1-3 hours daily at the gym to getting no exercise other than walking the dogs or playing with my kid. Before I knew it, I was aching all over and having troubles carrying my ever growing child. So, it was finally time to change and to go back at it. There are so many systems out there; how does one ever decide? The gym I previously went to had spin bikes. I rarely did those classes...in fact, I sucked terribly at them and was never a fan. Yep, if you had to say my husband was going to convince me a Peloton bike was the way to go just over a year ago, I'd tell you you're crazy. We've all heard of it, it covers the news outlets and medias day in and out. The pandemic has been hard on everyone.
