This movie is certainly geared towards the younger crowd and tweens. My preschooler quite enjoyed seeing the magical, whimsical parts and in particular, loved Nory's ability to transform into hybrid animals. It was also pleasant to see the odd ones out band together and become stronger together. The concepts are good. The wonky magic was funny. It was able to engage our child. There are some darker parts that may be scary for younger children. Overall, it is a bit too kiddish for parents but great for the kids, teaching good values and determination. It embraces each person's uniqueness and encourages a kid to embrace and love their differences, which is incredibly important for a child's growth and confidence.
