Disney Pixar always has such captivating films. Elemental, the newest release available now on Digital retailers and on 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD on September 26 is no different. With vibrant colors and beautiful scenes, Element City draws viewers in.

Elemental is somewhat of an eclectic new addition to the Disney Pixar collection. It introduces cultures, although in a blended sense disguised as the Fire family. They are representative of an amalgam of immigrants and minority groups searching for a way to fit in yet somewhat comfortable and cozy in their segregated communities. When I first heard the Fire family's accents in the parents, I was wondering why accents were used. However, a bit of research led me to the answer that this back story parallel's director Peter Sohn's family's past as well.

Synopsis:

“Elemental” is an original feature film set in Element City, where residents of Fire, Water, Earth and Air live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn (“The Good Dinosaur,” “Partly Cloudy” short), and produced by Denise Ream (“The Good Dinosaur,” “Cars 2”), “Elemental” features a screenplay by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh, and stars the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade.

There's a whole of hidden nuances in this film that resonate with me coming from a family as well where my parents immigrated so that their kids could have a better life. This was why Elemental really touched my heart and struck chords that I didn't even know were there! This spot shows some of the conflicts of interest that we have to support and help our parents who have given up everything for us and our need to find ourselves. I also loved Elemental was full of puns and cute humor. In addition to vibrant, beautiful art, Elemental was a treat to watch. It tugged at all sorts of heart strings and teaches important lessons as most Dinsey movies do, however, it also showcases the fears and challenges of minority groups and the sacrifices parents make for their children. Elemental also shows that preconceived notions of others doesn't always come from the majority but also the minority as well. However, communication is key a in any scenario to bridging differences. Absolutely beautiful! Disney and Pixar’s Elemental is now available on Digital Retailers and will arrive on on 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD September 26th.
